Installing Gridline Pro
Upload the Gridline Pro zip, activate it next to Gridline, and enter your license key.
Note
This is part of Gridline Pro.
Gridline Pro is an add-on: it adds bulk changes, undo, variation rows, export and more columns to Gridline, which stays installed and keeps doing everything else. You need both.
Before you start
- WooCommerce and Gridline 1.0.0 or later, installed and active. If you don't have Gridline yet, install it from Plugins → Add New Plugin (search for "Gridline"); see Installation.
- The gridline-pro.zip file and the license key from your purchase email. Both are in the email Lemon Squeezy sent after you bought Gridline Pro.
Install and activate
- Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin at the top.
- Choose
gridline-pro.zipand click Install Now. - Click Activate Plugin.
WordPress won't activate Gridline Pro while Gridline or WooCommerce is inactive; it lists what's missing instead. Activate those first.
Enter your license key
Back on the Plugins screen, there's a box under Gridline Pro:

- Paste the license key from your purchase email.
- Click Activate.
The box turns green and shows the end of your key and, for a yearly license, the date your updates run until. The key activates Gridline Pro on this site only; see Licenses and updates for moving it to another site.
Note
The features work as soon as the plugin is active, with or without a license. The license is what lets WordPress download updates.
Check it works
Go to Products → Bulk Editor. With Gridline Pro active you'll see:
- Add product and History buttons next to the title,
- a checkbox at the start of each row, with Bulk edit, Duplicate and Export CSV above the grid,
- a Show variations box next to the filters,
- more columns in Screen Options: featured, catalog visibility, descriptions, image, gallery, sale dates, tax class, backorders, weight, shipping class and your attributes.
The sentence about Gridline Pro under the grid is gone.
While Gridline Pro isn't active
Your history of saves stays saved. Gridline doesn't show it, and as soon as Gridline Pro is active again it's back in History, ready to undo, with nothing to re-enter.
